The Company was founded in 2018 by Shawn Macedo. Shawn Macedo owns homes in various parts of the United States including New Jersey and New York. Shawn has been a real estate investor for over 20 years. REA Co is also known in the local areas as Swift Home Buyers Co.

I have been a real estate investor since 2003. I started as a buy-and-hold investor buying and house-hacking a number of apartments in Manhattan. I then became a real estate agent and sold real estate in Manhattan for 5 years, then in the Princeton market for 2 years. I tired of the retail side of the market and then left the business to run an internet marketing company for 5 years. In 2018 I felt called to return to real estate and founded Real Estate Acquisitions Co. and Swift Home Buyers Co.
Since its founding, I have grown the company from 1 to a team of 17 at its largest.
We have completed over 135 real estate deals over the last 4 years.
I bring to the table over 20 years of real estate experience, as a landlord, a deal structure expert, and deal provider. I have built a team to manage the full life cycle of investment property acquisitions and dispositions. The company I have built is fully systematized and operated professionally. I have been an entrepreneur for most of my business career and have run 5 businesses. With this experience, I have built a solid company run with honesty, integrity, and with a focus on service.
With the capability to structure profitable cash deals for fix and flip or buy and hold, as well as the ability to structure profitable, lower up-front cost, creative deals the company partners with private lenders to structure deals and profit together.
For the last several years the company has been been focused on sourcing discounted investment property and then wholesaling those properties to our investor partners. With the expertise the company has built over the last several years we now believe strongly in building our rental portfolio again, which is why we are interested in working together. We have some decent equity and would love to be able to use that equity to purchase more rental properties and increase our portfolio with an additional 15-20 properties over the next year all earning a positive cash flow of $400-600 per property.

Our overall investment strategy and specialty is to purchase distressed properties at a deep discount – usually 30% to 50% below market value, and renovate and rent those properties to tenants and potential buyers.
